This is because in 1527 Cirebon alliance – Demak under the leadership of Fatahilah carried out an attack and conquered the Sunda Kelapa Harbor.
Then the war between the Kingdom of Sunda & Cirebon alliance – Demak lasts for 5 year. Later in the year 1531 an agreement was made between Prabu Surawisesa & Sunan Gunungjati of the Cirebon Sultanate.
Later in the year 1579 The Sunda Kingdom experienced a decline under the Sultanate of Banten. Finally Sunda Kelapa Harbor fell into the hands of the Sultanate of Banten.
Then at that time the Dutch East Indies government formed the Province of West Java in 1925, and this province is inhabited by residents, most of whom use the Sundanese language in their daily lives
